A Romantic Fall Engagement Session at Roberts Farm Preserve
Noah and Makayla’s engagement session at Roberts Farm Preserve in Maine perfectly showcased the beauty of New England in autumn. With vibrant leaves and sweeping fields, this location created a stunning backdrop for Morgan Williamson Photography to capture their love story.
How Noah and Makayla Met
Noah and Makayla first met in high school but didn’t officially start dating until 2017, when Noah sent a playful DM on Twitter. That simple message led to a first date and, eventually, a lasting relationship built on years of shared memories and adventures.
A Foggy Yet Perfect Proposal
After seven years together, Noah planned to propose during a camping trip to Acadia National Park. He intended to pop the question at sunrise on Cadillac Mountain, but when they couldn’t get a pass, he improvised.
On a foggy morning at the beach near their campsite, Noah got down on one knee and proposed with only a few deer as witnesses. It wasn’t the original plan, but it was intimate and unforgettable—exactly what they’ll remember forever.
Why They Chose Roberts Farm Preserve
When planning their engagement session, Noah and Makayla wanted to fully embrace the fall season. Roberts Farm Preserve in Maine was the perfect location, offering wooded trails and open fields that highlighted the vibrant autumn colors. The variety of scenery allowed their photos to feel cozy, natural, and true to their personalities.
Looking Ahead to Their Wedding
The couple is planning a July 2027 wedding with a small, intimate ceremony and a larger reception for friends and family. While Makayla finishes law school, they are excitedly dreaming of the next chapter of their lives together and looking forward to celebrating surrounded by their loved ones.
