Kailey and Nick’s winter wedding at Mountain View Grand in Whitefield, NH, was an elegant and cozy celebration set against the stunning backdrop of the White Mountains. Captured beautifully by Brass Tacks Photography, their day was filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments shared with family and friends.

Kailey and Nick shared a bit about their wedding planning journey:

“Planning started out extremely stressful—there were so many decisions to make that all felt so important. With the help of our vendor team, we figured out which decisions actually mattered to us and which ones didn’t. Our rule was that if planning stopped being fun, we’d take a break. And let’s just say, we took a lot of breaks!”

The couple knew from the start that they wanted a winter wedding. “We fully embraced it by choosing a venue in the White Mountains. Mountain View Grand gave our wedding a ‘mini destination’ feel, and many of our guests made a long weekend out of it, hitting the local ski slopes and enjoying everything the area has to offer.”

Kailey and Nick wanted their wedding to be formal yet fun, and their emerald and gold color scheme set the tone. “It felt elegant but also cozy, which was exactly what we were going for. We loved planning this big, elegant event while knowing that, deep down, it was just one big family party where everyone was having the time of their lives in beautiful clothes!”

One of their most cherished memories came at the end of the night. “We chose a special last song and hoped it would be a moment where everyone on the dance floor could let loose and soak in the joy of the day. The entire dance floor circled around us, dancing and singing with incredible energy. Being surrounded by all our favorite people in that moment was the most special feeling.”

Reflecting on their wedding, Kailey and Nick offered advice to couples currently planning theirs: “As soon as the planning stops being fun, take a break. With social media and the pressure to have everything be perfect, it’s easy to lose sight of what matters. Weddings are about two people celebrating their love and commitment to each other. If that mindset slips away, take a step back and refocus on what’s truly important.”

Kailey and Nick’s wedding was a heartfelt and joyful celebration, made all the more magical by its wintery setting in the White Mountains.
