When Andrea from Brass Tacks Photography sent us this gallery, we were truly floored by not only the lush foliage that served as a backdrop for Maggie and Kellam’s engagement session, but also by the extremely handsome four-legged companion that they brought with them. Seriously – Woody couldn’t be more of a model! There were so many unreal images to choose from for this post, so here’s only a handful of the this gorgeous fall session in Lincoln, New Hampshire.
Maggie and Kellam are recent New Hampshire transplants from Texas. Maggie shares that, “Kellam is getting his MBA at Dartmouth College. We will be living in New Hampshire for [the next] two years. I had heard so many amazing things about New England’s fall and the leaves changing. [I] thought that would be an amazing time to get pictures that we would keep forever.” They had the most perfect backdrop, as the foliage was lush and only complimented by the neutral tones that they chose to wear for their session.
Maggie and Kellam met when they were both 15 years old. Unbeknownst to them, they grew up three houses apart from each other in the same neighborhood in Dallas. Though they went to different schools, it took until they were teenagers to finally notice each other. Maggie and Kellam said that their proposal was an absolute dream. “Our parents are neighbors and we were both living with our parents in Dallas. I had plans to go meet some girls for dinner on a Thursday evening and Kellam would often come over before I would go to dinner. He came over before I was leaving and brought me to my parents backyard and got down on a knee. Both of our families walked down from his parents house after [he proposed].”
Maggie and Kellam are getting married this August in a swoon-worthy place – Ravello, Italy. (Take us with you!) They are so excited to be marrying each other as partners and best friends in front of everyone they love. Congratulations to you two! Enjoy your big day!!
